ウクライナを侵攻したロシアに対する米中の姿勢に関する記事をご紹介します。アメリカのブリンケン国務長官は、中国がロシアに軍事支援を検討しているとの懸念を示しました。ロシアの侵攻を非難せずに中立的な立場に見せかけて、反対の方向に向かっていると指摘しました。ロシアを支援すれば中国への経済制裁も辞さない考えも示したようです。

米国務長官「中国がロシア軍事支援検討」 18日米中協議
US Secretary of State Blinken expressed concern at a press conference on the 17th that China is considering providing military assistance to Russia, which has invaded Ukraine. Blinken revealed that US President Biden would "make clear that China will bear responsibility for any actions it takes" in a phone call with Chinese President Xi Jinping on the 18th.
This is the first time a senior US government official has publicly acknowledged that China is considering supporting Russia. Blinken stated, "We're concerned that they are considering directly assisting Russia with military equipment to use in Ukraine." The US government also shared with its allies that China has shown its willingness to provide military support to Russia.
Blinken stated, "We believe China has a responsibility to defend the international rules and principles that it professes to support." He concluded that "China is moving in the opposite direction by refusing to condemn this aggression while seeking to portray itself as a neutral arbiter."
